Redfern Tree, Inc.,
is a family-owned and family-operated tree service that specializes in professional tree removal and pruning. The company offers stump grinding, emergency service, difficult tree removal, and planting; it also performs hardscape work, including grading, retaining wall installation, and irrigation. Earl Redfern founded the business in 1984. The Ozmanbasic family, whose members worked for Earl, bought the company from him in 1998. Azur Ozmanbasic, company CEO, explains, "My family is personally involved in every job to make sure things are done right. My father handles the business end and the office, my brother manages crews and meets with homeowners, and I do the estimates and manage many of the jobs." According to Azur, the company has 16 uniformed, trained employees and 12 well-marked company vehicles. Redfern carries workers' compensation and liability insurance. Azur says, "My family loves the tree business. We have the experience and equipment to do any size job, even the large and difficult ones. We served more than 1,150 metro-Atlanta customers last year. We believe honesty is the best policy and work very hard to make our customers happy."
