Company president Fred Graves initially founded Graves Fireplaces, a hearth supply company, in 1977, but the community demanded other services, prompting him to open Graves Overhead Doors in 1998. Fred's son, Lee Graves, is vice president and operations manager of Graves Overhead Doors. "Because we've been doing business for so long, we have a great reputation in the area," Lee says. Specializing in garage door and door opener installations and replacements, Graves also offers repair work and maintenance on existing systems. It offers top-quality sectional garage doors and carriage-style doors in a variety of materials, including wood, steel, and composite. Custom designs are available. Graves Overhead Doors carries both workers' compensation and liability insurance and is a mid-sized company of 20 employees. All of Graves' technicians have several years of experience.
