The company repairs all types and brands of garage doors and openers; it also encloses carports, but does not work on gates or gate openers. Dan Watkins, who founded the business in 1999, is a hands-on owner. He estimates many of the jobs, trains most of the technicians, helps out in the office, and occasionally fixes some of the doors himself. Dan says, "In the early days, it was just me and my truck; now, I have a great team. We don't like to let anything slip through the cracks, because we aim for perfection." The company carries workers' compensation and liability insurance, as well as a five-year hardware warranty and one-year labor warranty on new doors. Dan states, "I treat my technicians well, so they'll treat our customers well. My parents always told me, 'If you treat people right and you're honest with them, business will beat a path to your door.' Our goal is to deliver the service and quality our customers want, so they'll tell their friends and family about us."
