Ask-Kay Electrical Contractors, Inc.,

is a family business that provides general electrical repair and installation, as well as surge and spike protection, panel and service changes or upgrades, sale and installation of back-up generators, home theater installation, and 24-hour emergency service. The company traces its roots back to 1964, when Bill Askea founded the business. In 1990, Bill's son, Steve Askea, took over the company. Steve says, "I learned the business from working with my father. I started sweeping the floors here when I was only 13. Many of the employees have been around for years, and I consider them my extended family." Ask-Kay Electric has five Master Electricians on staff, performs background checks and drug tests on new employees, and carries workers' compensation and liability insurance. Service technicians are uniformed and travel in marked trucks. Steve states, "To stay in business, we need satisfied customers. We offer up-front pricing, so that customers know what the job will cost before it begins. We guarantee all work, including parts and labor, for one year. And we make sure we take care of our employees, because happy employees take care of our customers."
