Installation

Correctly installing windows is a difficult job best left to an expert.  Replacement or new windows must be installed square, level, and load free.  The window should not support the weight of the wall above.  Poorly installed windows can leak air and create drafts.  If your high-quality windows are installed incorrectly, you can lose much of the energy-saving value you purchased.
