When they first came here, they had a booklet with letters written by all these different people in the neighborhood, which I believe are probably true. In fact, when they finished, they left me a paper to fill out on them. Mine probably won't make it in their booklet because I wasn't pleased with them. First of all, none of them spoke English. Second, they got paint on my hardwood floor, which I can't get up. Then, they got paint on my fireplace. I had asked them to please cover the fireplace, but they didn't understand....There is another area that I wanted them to come back out and repair, and he said he was going to...and never has. I am kind of tired of chasing him....They also painted my bathroom ceiling, and they didn't throw anything over the tub, so I had to scrape paint off my jacuzzi tub. All they had to do was throw a cloth over it! But they didn't....I had to use a razor blade to clean the jacuzzi tub, which means I probably scratched it." (This

"I was real impressed with the guy who came over here. He said they'd get the work done. It was almost $3,000, so it wasn't any cheaper than [a very good company I was considering]. But, he just did a good sales talk. Then...he sent this crew...and they were terrible. It took two weeks, simply because they didn't have a clue about what they were doing. I kept trying to suggest some things to them on how to do it better, and then I finally reached the point where I realized that it wasn't going to get any better....I redid [some of the work] myself. I complained, of course. I wrote a letter to the owner, but I never heard back from the owner. It was just a horrible job. "I had a horrible experience with [#2596]. They were doing the interior of the house and I have all hardwood floors. They drug the furniture across the floors and just completely gouged the floor. I confronted them with it, and they just denied it and took no responsibility. I knew I didn't do it, and nobody else was in the house. It was obvious they moved the furniture, so I knew they were lying. I literally fired them on the spot. That's something which I've never done to anybody else before.
