with them for
appliances and
they're good to
their word. We
had some fairly
minor things like
a refrigerator
gasket seal. They've
worked out pretty
well for us. Their
technicians are
typically third-world
folks, and English
is their second
language. They
work hard, and
it's obvious that
they get trained
to do what they
are supposed to
do...but communicating
with them and
trying to get
them to think
outside of the
box is a little
problematic. Overall,
I'd give them

fixing my appliances,
we had been going
through [#425].
I would never
go through them
again. I've had
problems with
them. In the last
four months, they've
sent four different
guys out because
my washing machine
was leaking. The
fourth guy assures
me that he figured
out the problem.
Well, knock on
wood, he came
out yesterday
and he said he
fixed it. Now,
next week, it
might be leaking
again and we might
flood again....They're
just not correcting
the problem. They
seem knowledgeable
and they seem
good, but then
when something
rebreaks within
ten days after
they fix it, you're
a little skeptical.
The first time
is OK. And even
the second time
is OK. But the
fourth time? It
is like, 'Do you
guys really know
what you're doing
here?' I've given
them the benefit
of the doubt.
They did better
with the dryer.
They finally fixed
that, but with
the washing machine...I'm
still holding
my breath to see
if it starts leaking
in the next week
to ten days again...four
technicians and
they can't seem
to diagnose it
right. Hopefully
they fixed it
right this time
though...hopefully." (This

I had to have
them out twice
and they never
fixed it, and
the guy they sent
was such a mess.
His hands and
everything were
so dirty. He was
a mess himself,
and he left my

mess and didn't
repair it. I just
looked at him,
and never again
have I called

terrible...terrible.
We have an ASKO
dishwasher—it's
one of the higher-end
dishwashers. It
was broken when
we moved in. And
it took them eight
months to fix
it. I kept calling
them constantly,
and they kept
sending people
out that didn't
know what to do.
They kept ordering
these major parts
that were real
expensive, and
then they would
send somebody
who didn't know
how to put them
in, and the guy
would blow up
the new part.
It is finally
fixed. They finally
got somebody who
fixed it and he
was good, but
[#4829] is horrible,
